Watch the video and hear that he’s firmly on the side of revolution in Syria when he claims ‘We were winning before Hezbollah came along’ , despite him insisting his cause is a humanitarian one.
Yes , I know he’s getting on a bit but it doesn’t stop him from continually screaming for US intervention wherever he feels it’s necessary. His concern for Syrian civilians is in stark contrast to his concern for innocent Lebanese victims of Israeli cluster bombs just a few years ago… Who are still dying today because of them.
Hypocrisy isn’t exclusive to McCain , it’s the foundation of American/UK/Israel foreign policy. Seemingly , defenceless civilians opposing Assad in Syria are far more important than Palestinian and Lebanese victims of Israel’s criminal indiscriminate slaughter’s of recent years. Maybe McCain could explain why there is such a discrepancy in his valuation of the different people dependent on their nationality?
He won’t , but I will. It depends on who is doing the killing. If Israel kills , it’s in defence of humanity against the evil forces that oppose ‘us’ , no matter if the victim is a small child…You won’t hear McCain criticise Israel. Could we not give him the benefit of the doubt and accept that his stance is purely humanitarian? No , not when we read his history of supporting US war and intervention. He has strongly supported the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians.
Google ‘McCain condemns Israel’.
Primarily his support has been to strengthen the Israeli position regardless of how many civilians die or are displaced. Why are so many top politicians so supportive of the criminal state of Israel when anyone who takes even a slight interest in the Middle East is quickly aware of the atrocities they commit?
The adulation heaped on the recently deceased Sharon , Tony Blair’s straight faced attendance and a bizarre collection of people carrying his coffin ultimately to an IDF truck was borderline comical. It is apt that Blair attended but somewhat hypocritical if you take a look at Sharon’s history. He joined a terrorist group at 14 that was intent on driving the British out of Palestine to allow the recently arrived Jews to attack and displace the indigenous people. The constant denials by Tony Blair that he did nothing wrong concerning Iraq made them natural bed fellows (no reference to allegations that Blair was caught twice trying to procure young men from toilets in London several years ago). Then there is the majority of the population of Israel, wrapped up in the mourning for a man who has been effectively dead for 8 years.
With most people that die , there are usually sentiments of kindness and how they enhanced mankind but not with Sharon. ‘He was a brave warrior for the people of Israel’ ……In the fight to steal someone else’s land , sure he was. Sharon wasn’t that brave. He was on the side that was very well armed from it’s inception primarily by the US. So they were much better equipped than the Palestinian Army ….. There wasn’t a Palestinian Army as such…They were almost all civilians fleeing the massacres after hearing about villages close by.
So Mr Sharon wasn’t a war hero , he was a cold blooded murderer of civilians and I haven’t even mentioned the Sabra and Shatilla slaughter’s that he oversaw and subsequently had to resign because of. So you see , Mr Blair is quite at home wearing his kappa at the funeral of a terrorist….It is ironic though.
From the BBC:
Foreign Secretary William Hague says a bid to prosecute British politicians and senior military figures for alleged war crimes in Iraq should be rejected.
He claims that if there are any accusations of wrongdoing by UK forces , the UK government will deal with it. Who does he think we are to dismiss serious accusations by UK forces mistreating prisoners in Iraq? I hope the ICC have a full and proper investigation and if there are UK citizens accused of crimes , make them go and defend themselves. It’s so arrogant that we demand the highest standards from other countries yet think we are above the law ourselves.
The death of Sharon earlier in the day shouldn’t in any way hide the incompetence of my latest subject …Mahmoud Abbas. He is the greatest traitor to Palestinian hopes of freedom. Just like other politicians worldwide , he is creaming off a nice little earner for himself and his friends and family. Was he involved in Tony Blair’s deal to get a telecommunications system set up not that long ago in the Occupied territories? I haven’t been digging very deep about Abbas , after all he’s supposed to (obviously) be on pro-Palestinian side , isn’t he?
No …. That’s the short answer. He’s actually on Mahmoud Abbas’ side. He doesn’t give a damn about anything but his own very comfortable lifestyle , least of all destitute or starving Palestinians. It’s time to stop differentiating between Palestinian politicians and Israeli politicians , they all make good from the conflict , even if it is on a personal basis. The claim that they are trying to make an agreement is a blatant and unforgivable fat lie. The Israelis don’t want peace because the land grab will stop…. The Palestinian ‘negotiators don’t want peace because their nice little gravy train will stop.
No tears will be shed by me for this murderous war criminal. If there is a hell, I hope he’s already rotting away in it.
The Chancellor today claims that another 26 Billion pounds has to be reduced form the budget after the next election. The people of the UK haven’t felt the full effects of previous cuts yet but as is usual the poorest in society will pay a much larger wedge of the newly announced cuts. 12 Billion of it will come from the welfare budget. This is yet another attack on the less well off (the vast majority having found themselves in this position due to circumstances beyond their control) and deal more misery on them.
If you’re sat in a well paid job thinking you are safe from the effects of these cuts think again. No job in this country is secure and it’s by design. The millions of people coming here from Europe aren’t an accident. It allows the wealthy employers to put a freeze on low paid wages because the market is overfilled with people scratching for a job …Any job. It’s Win – Win for the ruling class of the UK, after all they don’t have to endure the rising community tensions that a massive influx of foreigners bring. They are safe in their security controlled lush houses…And also gain all the profit from the low wages being paid.
It’s a shame the people of the UK don’t see it for what it is , a divide and rule policy which will end up with drones in the skies , a very cheap police force and security men raiding the contacts you have on Facebook if you get arrested. Too ridiculous to be believable? I wish.
