It’s not just our (UK) politicians…

Research reveals that most of our politicians in the UK are involved in various friends of Israel groups. That’s across the board of our mainstream political parties. What is odd about that you may ask…Well, nothing if equal amounts were affiliated to pro Palestinian groups. So far as I’m aware only a very small number of politicians defend Palestinian rights, never mind join ‘Friends of Palestine’. I don’t even know if these types of groups exist. My conclusion is that on the surface these politicians try to show us how much they differ in policies but in actual fact, when you scratch the surface, it’s just a very large wealthy club that look after each others interests.

The events in Paris would indicate that this isn’t just a UK politician problem.

This picture was taken just this week when the two men met with regards the terrorist attack in Paris.

However, the last I knew Sarkozy was being accused of ….Here is a quote from The Independent newspaper.

The former French President, Nicolas Sarkozy, has been charged with corruption and illegally using his influence after a day in custody.

The disgraced politician was questioned by police for 15 hours, Le Monde reported, and was left without a lawyer when Thierry Herzog was also arrested along with two senior judges.

Mr Sarkozy, 59, has become the first former French President taken into custody in a criminal investigation, making his widely anticipated political comeback look ever more unlikely.

The right-wing leader has been accused of multiple illegal dealings, mostly linked to the financing of his 2007 and 2012 election campaigns.

Here is another quote from the Daily Mail.

A French secret serviceman acting on the express orders of Nicolas Sarkozy is suspected of murdering Colonel Gaddafi, it was sensationally claimed today.

He is said to have infiltrated a violent mob mutilating the captured Libyan dictator last year and shot him in the head.

The motive, according to well-placed sources in the North African country, was to stop Gaddafi being interrogated about his highly suspicious links with Sarkozy, who was President of France at the time.

Hollande himself has been embroiled in a lurid sex scandal which he somehow survived.

So despite all the mud slinging between these two, at the first opportunity, the disgraced leader invites the disgraced former leader back to the corridors of power.

Yes, I’m just stating the bleeding obvious…So why can’t other people see the politicians are relatively good actors?
