Vote Conservative if you want to …

Get rid of the National Health Service for good.

The recent ransomware crisis revealed that 90% of the NHS trust computers are still on Windows XP.

This in itself is evidence of criminal underfunding or incompetent management, neither of which will be corrected. The usual rhetoric is ‘lessons will be learned’.

If you want to continue dropping bombs on people that don’t threaten us.

Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and currently Syria have succeeded in gaining only more enemies. Unsurprisingly, the warmongering stretches across the political divisions.

Wouldn’t the money spent on (possibly) illegal (but certainly) immoral conflicts above, been better spent on the NHS updating Microsoft products to protect against ransom ware that isn’t even a new concept?

If you want to bring back the horrific ‘sport’ of hunting.

A barbaric entertainment for the tiny minority cannot be justified on any grounds.

If you want to continue with the policy that harms only the poorest – austerity.

Services are being cut year on year, not by local councillors so much as a reduction of funds from Westminster. Yes, it’s the local officials that get all the criticism but they are only deciding which services are priorities.

If you want to ignore the wealthy corporations and individuals pilfering your hard earned pensions, like British Home Stores (Philip Green) did.

How many times do we hear ‘pension funds deficit’? To Philip Green and his family, it wasn’t a serious problem. They just sold BHS and all it’s liabilities (including the pension deficit) for one pound, to a sleazy, shady conman with a previous record of unscrupulous business behaviour. Problem sorted…… Unless you have worked for the BHS company for many years,  then you just had to take a serious hit on what your pension payment would have been. All perfectly legal ……..

If you want to continue funding the terrorist group known as the White Helmets (who have already received £32 million from British taxpayers).

This is the minimum amount. The Conflict, Stability and Security Fund set up by the British government in 2015 is less than helpful with information regarding the £1 billion it has at it’s disposal, hence my claim of ‘minimum’.

If you want to continue the same old tired policies that batter the working and middle class of this country.

By using loop-holes and imaginative accountants, the wealthiest people in the UK avoid paying their fair share of taxes.

There are many more policies that will never enhance the lives of you or I. The government is full of idiots like Boris Johnson but it’s not just about Conservative Members of Parliament. Many of the Labour MP’s are merely wolves in sheep’s clothing. All the rebels trying to remove Corbyn are ‘Blairites’. And we know where his policies got us – or rather got him and his family. Aside from the vast wealth he has accumulated with his reward from various Gulf countries and others, his offspring have managed to acquire nice little earners, not from their own talent, if they have any, but from their fathers cosy deals. The Blair Government actually behaved exactly like a ‘right’ leaning Conservative Government would have done.

I’m not condemning all Conservative politicians. Some are extremely good. Likewise with Liberal Democrats. Research your prospective MP and find out his or her voting habits. We don’t want warmongers that create violence abroad and then wonder why people might want to come here and avenge our unprovoked military actions on them. Our politicians need to be in touch with reality. With particular regards to Syria, they do not want our ‘help’ via intervention. They just want us to stop funding and arming the terrorists that are ripping their country apart. The Syrian Arab Army and their allies will do the rest.

Our reputation abroad is poor, to say the least. We need politicians that will stop interfering in other peoples affairs for personal or corporate profit. The likes of James Le Measurier, who created the bogus White Helmets should be arrested, not funded.

We have creative, innovative and ground breaking ideas that can improve the lives of those in difficult circumstances living in other countries and the UK too. We need to put more effort into these instead of thinking we are still a global military power clinging to the shirt tails of (currently) Donald Trump. How embarrassing.

So, despite my ‘headline’, we should think carefully where we put the ‘X’ on voting day. A huge majority for the Conservatives could mean death for innocent civilians that support Bashar al Assad, because like it or not, he is the choice of the majority of Syrians.

My own regional Conservative candidate, Matt Warman, will not be getting my vote. Ignorance is no defence or excuse for being complicit in British tax payers money going to the terrorist amateur dramatics society known as the White Helmets.

To Mr Warman, I would say ‘learn how to use Google, or even better duckduckgo’. It’s amazing what peculiar inconsistencies can be found out about the antics, associations and crimes of the White Helmets.

Tony Blair must be having a laugh.

Tony Blair has recently attacked the democratic result of the the Brexit referendum, claiming we don’t know what we are doing and that he knows better. I wasn’t a fervent supporter of Brexit but eventually I decided to vote to exit Europe, while not being sure about the consequences. The reality is that the UK is a huge market for other countries to trade with and if they try to tax us too much, the same can be done to them. We buy in much more than we sell. For instance, if it weren’t for German cars, our roads would be much less congested. The UK is vital to German exports and so if they get awkward with us, we bang an extra tax on their cars.

The cost of being in the EU is massive. The system is corrupt and too many people get money for nothing. It’s not democratic and why do we need so many levels of ‘government’? Enormous costly buildings have been built and the addition of so many smaller European countries increases the cost to the more developed. I have no problem with Europeans making their life here but I am against the abuse of them being used in slave labour type conditions and having to live in slums. However, the very noble act of working here to better their relatives left at home by sending their spare cash to them, has to have an effect on our economy. On a personal level, I wouldn’t dare migrate to another country if I couldn’t speak the language. Communication is everything and I think that people coming here to work in an English language environment, should be able to adequately converse. All the health and safety rules and regulations are pointless if a worker cannot understand signs and instructions.

These are not the points that Blair would argue or even discuss. Europeans that he would be likely to encounter would be well educated, fluent English speaking. He wouldn’t be concerned with Europeans being a danger to themselves and others due to communication issues in a warehouse.

So far as Blair is concerned, his track record speaks for itself. He was a major contributor to the destruction of the UK health service, which is being run down so much that private companies will be ‘invited’ to take over from failing departments, as is already happening. The Private Financial Initiatives and Public Private Partnership were started by the Conservative regime but massively increased by Blair and his inept governments. This is a time bomb that most British people are blissfully unaware of. The Scottish government have already had to close 17 schools when they were found to be unsafe and the repair bill is still being disputed. More details about PPP/PFI can be found here.

Blair, as we all know, was a major factor in criminal invasion of Iraq, something that he still claims he would do all over again. I’ve absolutely no doubt that most Iraqis would disagree. Apart from there being a million and a half less than there were during Saddam’s reign, the country has been destroyed and is still mired in war. Experts claim that ISIS began its life in Iraq because of the unlawful chaos. Lets also not forget that Iraq have, and still are being robbed of their resources by primarily the Americans but no doubt British companies are benefiting too. Anthony Charles Lynton Blair is well aware of this theft.

During the initial invasion of Iraq by ISIS, the existing Iraqi forces appeared to abandon their posts and go home. This left billions of dollars worth of equipment, (originally sold to them by the US) that effectively armed ISIS, who subsequently used some of it to support their war with the Syrian Arab Army and their allies in Syria. Blair is guilty of being instrumental in the invasion of Iraq so must shoulder the blame for all the Middle East chaos since. The Iraq invasion was the catalyst.

Blair now has the brass neck to reinvent himself as the EU knight in shining armour that will inform the British people of their mistake of voting to remove ourselves from the chains of the European experiment. The slight majority disagree with him but that is enough for him to make his political comeback and demand we rethink. For those of us that voted to leave, his interference is wonderful. He is obviously deluded enough to think he still has support amongst the UK people. He hasn’t. If ‘we’ didn’t understand the ramifications of invading Iraq in 2003 (clearly those who marched against it did) we do now.

This is where Blair trips himself up. By insisting he would do the same again, knowing the consequences, instead of admitting it was a terrible mistake, Blair confesses to everyone he is a psychopath. Even people that take little interest in politics recognise his response is not normal. It comes down to morality. If an individual does something that they didn’t realise would cause harm to someone in an unexpected way, they would show remorse and admit they regret what they did.

There is no need for speculation with regards to Blair. He is consistent in his admission that he is a cold blooded psychopath, with no sense of responsibility for the deaths of untold numbers. ‘Normal’ people would regret their actions, even if it resulted in a minor injury, if it were their fault.

UK elections: Don’t waste your time voting….

Don’t waste your time voting in the upcoming UK elections, it’s a pointless exercise. Many years ago, I believe there was serious political and ideological policy differences between the Conservative and Labour parties but it becomes increasingly obvious none exist now. In particular, since the election in 1997 of Anthony Charles Lynton Blair the choice of either Socialist, Capitalist or indeed any variation, disappeared. The recent HSBC row concerning tax avoidance by the wealthiest people in the country proves without doubt this claim.

Suspected HSBC related tax crimes were known for at least seven years prior to the recent revelations. This fact implicates both the current Conservative/Liberal coalition government and the previous Labour party regime of knowing about the tax evasion. Hardly any meaningful action has been taken by either and I’d wager that nothing will change much even now.

The first problem with bringing these people to justice is that they are political party donors and increasingly our system is becoming more like the American style of lobby pressure politics whereby donors can and do demand something in return for their copious amount of funding. As an example, a book called US Foreign Policy by John J Mearsheimer and Stephen M Walt explain how it works far more eloquently than I ever could.

Because of the first hurdle to indictments for all these wealthy people, there is absolutely no political will to investigate, never mind prosecute. Even if investigations are forthcoming, the tax evasion amount is estimated and the criminal allowed to pay what he owes the Inland Revenue (tax collectors) and that’s the end of it. However, this isn’t the way the rest of us are treated by the tax authorities nor in the general justice system. Not declaring your income records honestly is theft. You are stealing from everyone else who pays their tax and as I’ll explain, the vast majority of us don’t have the opportunity to even attempt tax avoidance.

In the UK, the vast majority of us are subject to a system called PAYE. It stands for Pay As You Earn and this is how it works. We are allotted a tax code which indicates the level of tax we pay to government which our employers then collect from our earnings before it is given to us. For instance, if my wages were 400 pounds a week, I would only receive 300 in my bank account because the government tax collectors would have my employer give them my tax directly. The 25% deduction is accurate even though we are told our tax rate is around 15% by government, they don’t include what is called NI contributions which we pay just under 10% of our wages and the employer pays a similar amount for employing us. All these taxes except those that are collected by fraudulent companies and never given to the government are guaranteed every three months.

If I go and steal something from a shop and get caught by the shop owner, they call the police and I am almost certain to be prosecuted, no matter how little the item would have cost to buy. Likewise, if I were to claim government benefits that I am not entitled to, I would feel the full force of the law, possibly jailed and also be exposed as a benefits cheat in the media to complete the public shaming.

It appears that not all of us are treated equally. If you are a banker and you rig the market, your employee pays a large fine (to who?) and that is normally the end of it. If you are a wealthy person with innovative accountants, you would, more often than not be allowed to pay the amount you tried to steal and that would be the end of it.

It’s hardly an ‘equal in the eyes of the law’ situation.

So, back to the people who allow this huge difference in how laws do not apply evenly across society. Both political parties totally ignored this tax evasion scandal even though the whistleblower who exposed it seven years ago, Herve Falciani offered our tax authority, HMCR all the information related to it. It’s not clear how they responded but it’s fair to say that none of the thousands of British names on the list appear to be in prison.

It would appear that pressure is being put up on the government to prosecute HSBC for facilitation, which as I’ve already said would probably conclude with large fine for HSBC  but no individual prosecutions. We are told that we are individually responsible for our tax, even though the government take that option away from the vast majority of us. The ones who are ‘trusted’ with their’s should all be brought to justice, including sports stars, multi-millionaires and dare I say it, politicians.

I wont be voting for anyone until this basic inequality is addressed. I can’t imagine I’ll be holding a ballot paper or my breath (for it to happen) anytime soon.

A message to the British members of parliament voting today.

Some of you were responsible for the devastation that wrecked Iraq several years ago. I hope at some point you face the consequences of those actions along with a certain Anthony Charles Lynton Blair. You are the privileged, the people that have access to information and resources people like myself can only dream of. Dodgy dossiers about Iraq are no excuse and neither will ignorance be a legitimate defence this time round.

The orange jump suit’s and the Jihad John videos have been a timely reminder to independent and critical thinking people just how convenient these productions have been. Just like ‘curveball’ and his fantastic tales of mobile chemical weapons, repeated by Colin Powell (whose integrity to that point was intact) in the UN drama that could have graced any unimaginative American movie thriller. Powell’s reputation is in tatters now and if it weren’t for all these people who repeated these lies (about Saddam’s none existent weapons of mass destruction) having apparent immunity from prosecution, most of them would be rotting in jail.

It would take thousands of ‘9/11’s’ to suffer the same numbers of deaths Iraq have already suffered. Foley, Sotloff and Haines, the victims of these videos that are seemingly crucial to the West’s involvement weren’t your average journalist’s. All three were connected to security forces around the world. Alan Henning appears to be the only genuinely innocent victim thus far and it’s been revealed he was kidnapped within half an hour of getting to Syria and that is extremely dubious. The recent appearance of the journalist John Cantlie reminded me of the the two NHS doctors accused of terrorism charges in the UK. Both cases against the accused were  dismissed because Cantlie and a fellow kidnap victim simply didn’t turn up to give evidence.

Despite all this suspicious behaviour it’s looking increasingly like Obama and Cameron will end up doing Israel’s dirty work against Assad through the back door.
