Charles Lister.

Charles Lister is an expert on Middle East related politics. How do we know? Because he told us so and he’s a ‘senior fellow’ at the Middle East Institute (whatever that means). His profile claims: ‘Lister also managed nearly three years of intensive face-to-face engagement with the leaderships of over 100 Syrian armed opposition groups’.

That’s quite an achievement considering that most Westerners who encountered these people at close quarters, didn’t have a long life expectancy. Lister’s most recent tweets (he’s a prolific tweeter) concentrate on the chemical weapon attack at Khan Sheikhoun, of which he has just concluded that Assad did it and there is incontrovertible evidence supporting his claim.

Lister criticises Russia for demanding OPCW involvement and then dismissing their results. He knows as well as anyone that there has to be absolute security of the samples for the results to be verified. The integrity of the suspected chemical weapons has to be assured by a chain of custody, whereby the samples are guaranteed to be tamper free. So far as I’m aware, all the samples retained cannot be verified.

Khan Sheikhoun is in a rebel held area. No one could have got close to the ‘scene of the crime’ without the ruling terrorists allowing it. Furthermore, as each hour went by, the alleged site of the attack was open to contamination, manipulation and tampering. Images a day or so apart have already proven that an item was removed from the bomb crater.

Lister supports his accusation that Assad was responsible by quoting the governments of Turkey, Israel, US, France and UK. All the aforementioned governments have not just passively but actively supported any opposition to the Syrian Arab Army, no matter what they did in terms of criminal activities or their extremist ideology. He missed out two other nations who support the claim. Those bastions of democracy, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Turkey has allowed the porous border with Syria to be a crossing point for thousands of terrorists.   Israel have treated terrorists at field hospitals and attacked Syrian assets on numerous occasions . United Kingdom has donated £ millions and and given equipment to the extremist White Helmets. United States have killed many Syrian Arab Army troops and destroyed bridges over the Euphrates.    France have been undermining the Syrian government and been involved in ‘coalition’ attacks.

So, we can conclude that unless a chain of custody can be absolutely guaranteed for the samples, any results or conclusions are null and void. Lister knows this but continues his claims and arguments as if the integrity had been maintained.

Despite his studious appearance, Lister is an avid supporter of military action. His many meetings with terrorists shows he has a strong stomach for violence – inflicted on to others. His friends in ISIS and al Qa’ida have made the lives of ordinary Syrians an absolute misery and he has been on the sidelines cheering them on, claiming that Assad’s removal is his priority. Well Mr Lister, I think you should give the Syrian people some credit and allow them to decide who should be the head of their nation. Your support and cooperation with terrorist groups are well documented.

Lister reminds me of that other self proclaimed UK ‘expert’, Eliot Higgins. I would put money on neither of them having been in a conflict area similar to the one they are insisting the Syrian people should endure. They must be earning a lot of money for supporting ‘regime change’ and inflicting such conditions on people they don’t even know. They ignore the fact that at least 55% of Syrians are living in government areas and that SAA liberated villages and towns are relieved to be rid of the extremist zealots that Lister and Elliot support… Because they were making their lives intolerable.

If they believe in the cause to remove Assad so much, maybe they should join the hundreds of other brain washed British fools fighting for extremist groups in Syria. That they have only a remote relationship with any real Islamic values doesn’t appear to deter the ‘mercenaries’ already travelled to Syria, I’m sure it wouldn’t bother these two armchair warriors.

If these two British snakes had any good intentions towards Syrians, they would advocate the withdrawing of any uninvited parties, which would include the five governments he gives so much credence to above. It would also mean the 70,000 moderates Lister so laughably claimed were fighting against Syrian Arab Army and its allies. There never were remotely near that number.

Where are the White Helmets of Aleppo?

The PR department of the White Helmets has been particularly quiet recently. Having to relocate because of government advances could be the reason. Another possibility is that they have been too busy pulling survivors from damaged buildings. More realistically, is the internet connection is down in Aleppo?

A recent post by Eliot Higgins on the bellingcat website tries too refute and dismiss Vanessa Beeley’s numerous articles exposing the White Helmets. The article fails completely by insisting that her claims aren’t legitimate because they are disputed. Confirmation by the US, UK and Dutch governments of funding the WH aren’t enough for Higgins. Here is part of his article:

Because of this, they have regularly been smeared by the Syrian and Russian governments, and decried as fakes and terrorists. Russian state TV outlet RT (formerly “Russia Today”), for example, ran an opinion piece on 26 October by writer Vanessa Beeley, who labeled them a “terrorist support group and Western propaganda tool”, while a separate report a week earlier questioned the White Helmets’ neutrality by claiming that they were funded by Western governments. As early as May, Kremlin wire Sputnik called the White Helmets a “controversial quasi-humanitarian organisation” which was “fabricating ‘evidence’ of Russia’s ‘disastrous’ involvement in Syria”. This Sputnik piece also quoted Beeley, as saying that the White Helmets “demonize the Assad government and encourage direct foreign intervention.”

For someone who claims to be so diligent about evidence and facts, his dismissive tone regarding Vanessa Beeley casts doubt on what many would believe to be compelling evidence.

The last part of rebel held Aleppo is being cleared as I type and still no sign of any White Helmet employee’s. Maybe they are staying to put out the fires that the terrorists have ignited in an attempt to destroy the area or even evidence they would rather people not see. I have another theory, they aren’t there and never have been there. Elaborate hoaxes don’t just appear out of the air. They are meticulously planned and carried out by intelligent people. The BBC program ‘Saving Syria’s Children’ was created with the help of a charity, Hand in Hand for Syria. Several of the executives (and their relatives) are vociferous critics of the Assad government. Under scrutiny, the documentary looked like a poorly made horror movie. A walking dead scene is clearly bogus with the ‘actors’ awaiting the ‘action!’ command. The White Helmets have a control centre in Turkey and I strongly suspect the videos are made there. Time will tell.

John Kerry – Showing clear signs of dementia.

I don’t know who Kerry is trying to kid but anyone having a semblance of intelligence can see straight through his repetitive efforts to blame the Russians for failed peace initiatives. Perhaps his age (72) is starting to get the better of him. The Americans have been demanding Assad step down for over 5 years and Kerry regards the ceasefires as a way of weakening him. There should be no more negotiations by the Russians, the Americans have conned them twice, the first time when they simply re-armed the terrorists and allowed them to regroup when they were on the back foot and more recently when the US and it’s loyal followers attacked Deir Ezzor killing and injuring dozens of Syrian Arab Army soldiers.

A BBC Radio four report this evening repeated all the excuses used by the Americans, that it was an error. The credibility they give to Washington’s feeble attempts in claiming the attack was an accident are astonishing. The breathtaking compliance of the media in supporting American claims are staggering. Kerry blames Assad and his allies of attacking a UN Aid convoy. It wasn’t a UN operation, it was the Red Crescent in Syria, which the Syrian government have a good relationship with. After initially claiming it was attacked from the air, they backtracked after experts ruled it out. It looked as if the vehicles had been parked up and torched. Then there was the White Helmets, who were on the scene while everything was still ablaze. The WH video report sets alarm bells going and if that wasn’t enough the ‘armchair expert’ Eliot Higgins declares Russian involvement after he investigated the attack. Higgins has been found on numerous occasions to lack the expertise and indeed the neutrality to be taken seriously. Just about every conclusion has been that the Russians or Syrians ‘did it’, despite real experts being unable to confirm either way. He and his belling cat clowns are an absolute joke.

I just wish that someone would take these serial liars to task, I haven’t got the technical expertise to do it but then again I never claimed to have. These self proclaimed, deluded rank amateurs need to be exposed as the insignificant dreamers they are. Moreover, Mr Kerry needs to realise that repeating the same distortions over and over again would indicate a serious neurological disorder.
