Israeli housing minister demands the murder of Bashar al Assad.

Yoav Galant appeals for the head of a sovereign state to be assassinated.

Recent totally baseless accusations of Syrian government mass murder has inspired a lowly Israeli minister to call for Bashar al Assad’s assassination. This is a very unusual step for an Israeli official to unashamedly and openly call for an execution an enemy so brazenly. This kind of demand is usually spoken secretively, in the company of a leading Mossad agent.

The outrageous incitement to murder follows another claim of crimes against humanity, accusing President Assad of (again) slaughtering his own people. A few grainy satellite pictures of a prison in Syria will be followed by open source investigation by the intrepid Higgins and Kaszeta (bell¿ngcat), blue and red boxes added for effect. While these two planks are using microsoft paint software, messrs Bartlett, Beeley and Phelan are literally dodging bullets.

The big problem for the ‘Assad out’ campaigners is that they have ‘convicted’ him so many times already. Each time, a steady drip of contradicting facts are uncovered by the few courageous independent journalists still brave enough to ply their trade. Eva Bartlett, Vanessa Beeley, Lizzie Phelan……… I Can’t think of any male journalists. Apparently, the closest that the mainstream media reporters get to the conflict zone is a very nice hotel in Beirut.

It should also be noted that considering the MSM adulation of those nice rebels, none of these female journalists would be safe wandering around terrorist held areas, such as Idlib. None of them have come to any harm reporting from government areas, nor do they appear to cover their hair. Looking at videos of terrorist controlled regional protests, women aren’t even allowed out of their homes.

Back to Mr Galant…..

…. Such an inappropriate name. As is the case with most Israelis, he is a former IDF soldier. He was promoted to head of Southern Command after starting his career in the Israeli Navy. From the Jerusalem Post:

“A recent highlight of his career was Operation Cast Lead in the winter of 2008/9, which he planned and directed.”

The slaughter of captive civilians is regarded as a ‘highlight’, according to the JPost. After reading this, I’m shocked that he only demands the assassination of Assad and not the culling of a few hundred thousand Syrians.

If ever evidence was needed that the Israelis live in some kind of alternative universe which allows them to do whatever they deem necessary, this is it. Their confidence in knowing how, what or if a person should be punished is extremely revealing. Most people would call it arrogant and I wouldn’t argue.

Trumps selective travel ban.

Donald Trump claims his recent travel ban is designed to stop terrorist entry to the US. Apart from the fact that it doesn’t affect Saudi Arabia, the Middle Eastern country that promotes the Wahhabism, (the most extreme Islamic teachings) two other exceptions have been made. One is Raed Salah, the leader of the White Helmets. The other is described as a cinematographer for the White Helmets, Khaled Khatib. They are being allowed entry for the Oscar awards.

The fact that the White Helmets employ a cinematographer speaks for itself.

Investigations by independent journalists, Eva Bartlett and Vanessa Beeley have exposed the White Helmets as an ISIS asset. The witness statements of evacuees from Aleppo overwhelmingly claim that the White Helmets only assisted the terrorist fighters and ignored civilians, unless their cinematographer was present. Close inspection of the videos Mr Khatib recorded reveal that something is not quite right. Victims in a conflict zone are not paraded before they get treatment. Children ‘dumped’ in the back of an ambulance to be left untreated, to enable video footage to be taken, is not normal first aid procedure. The emergency situation of a collapsed building does not allow rescuers to frantically remove rubble, this could disturb the building to collapse even more. After an earthquake, the procedure has to be meticulous and thoughtful to save lives.

More evidence of White Helmet deception is in their own publicity stunts.

Having seen many of the videos produced by the White Helmets, these ladies above haven’t rescued anyone. You will be lucky to see any women, even victims, in their productions. ISIS interpretation of Islam would forbid their involvement, which is the reason they don’t appear in any dramatic rescue footage.

Even though I have been able to find reasons why Mr Saleh and Mr Khatib should be refused a visa, the  CIA, FBI, Home Security and whatever other American  security organisations exist, have been unable to flag these two Syrian nationals up as a possible terrorist threat? The answer to that is yes. Just last year, whilst Obama was still president, Mr Saleh was banned from entry into the US.

Despite all this, the two White Helmet terrorists will feel amongst friends at the Oscars. After all, their productions will blend in nicely with all the fantasy and horror movies.

White Helmets – the response from my democratically elected representative.

This is what he wrote:

Thank you for contacting me about Syria Civil Defence, also known as the White Helmets, and also for your kind comments about my work locally, which are much appreciated.

I was interested to read your comments, and agree that we must do what we can to help those less fortunate, both at home and overseas. The situation in Syria is certainly not black and white, but the White Helmets are in fact the most successful rescue organisation working in opposition-controlled areas of the country. To date they have saved more than 60,000 lives and were nominated for the Nobel peace prize in both 2015 and 2016 in recognition of their efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Syrian people.

As you note, the UK has provided financial support to the White Helmets through the cross-department Conflict Pool and its successor, the Conflict Stability and Security Fund (CSSF). Any use of CSSF funds is scrutinised to ensure that the provision of funding is consistent with export controls and complies with our international obligations. Recipients of CSSF funding have been carefully selected to prevent equipment being given to those involved in extremist activities or human rights violations. There is also constant monitoring of the situation in the ground and I have no doubt that the relevant authorities in the UK will be regularly reviewing their aid to the Syrian region to ensure it is used as intended. It is, of course, worth noting that investing in a stable Syria is in itself investing in the prevention of subsequent potential terrorism at home. In short, while there are aid projects with which many of us may quibble, I am not sure the White Helmets is an example of bad practice; quite the opposite.

Thank you again for taking the time to contact me. I will keep your comments in mind.

Best wishes,

Matt Warman MP

This was my reply to this letter.

Thank you for your swift response Mr Warman.

The reason I have such doubts about the White Helmets is due to research I have undertaken for over 12 months. Here are just some instances of their worrying behaviour.

The White Helmets are not (as they widely claim) the Syrian Civil Defence. The real Syrian Civil Defence have been registered with the International Civil Defence Organisation since 12/09/1972. The telephone number to call them is 113 (when inside Syria).

The group claim to be unarmed and impartial, insisting they help all the people in Syria. This is not true. They only operate in rebel held areas of Syria and there are countless images of them carrying weapons. They have also been recorded removing the body of an executed prisoner, (killed by a terrorist faction) immediately after he was murdered.

There are a huge number of White Helmet volunteers who have been positively identified as being members of the criminal extremists that are plaguing Syria, including Al Nusra and their many off shoots.

Professional search and rescue experts have revealed many unsafe practices used by the White Helmets and accused them of not using rescue tools correctly. Nor do they have particularly suitable protective clothing for such a dangerous job.

The White Helmet training facilities are directed primarily from Turkey, which has been active in allowing free movement of extremists and weapons across the porous border with Syria.

Mayday Rescue appears to oversee the White Helmet operations. The numerous staff they employ appear to be a mixture of anti Assad demonstrators and former military officers.

They don’t appear to know if they are ‘Syrian Civil Defence’ or ‘Syrian Civil Defense’. Fortunately I do, they are neither, and they don’t even have an emergency telephone number they can be contacted on.

According to escapees from East Aleppo, the White Helmets concentrated on addressing military personnel victims, not civilian.

From their inception, they have used the name of another entity. They claimed to be impartial, unarmed and willing to help anyone in distress, regardless of who they support in this conflict. Despite their extremely efficient PR team, glossy image and even promotion by Netflix and George Clooney, they are suspicious. Their claims of rescuing thousands of victims can’t possibly be verified, certainly not in a war zone. Also, claims of losing 155 martyrs is only supported by information on two of them, both from August last year. Not exactly an honourable way to remember the fallen.

You’ve already made your views clear on this matter Mr Warman, I just wanted to express my opinion. If you like, you can consider this dialogue to be completed, as I know you have many other issues to address. Thank you for your time.

Regards, Andy

I gave him the option of ending our conversation because I didn’t want to get into a slanging match and I do respect his opinion, even though I disagree with it. Living in a democracy, albeit not perfect, does give me the option of communicating with my democratically elected representative, which is more than what Syrians living under ISIS control are able to do. Any questioning of terrorist policy will end in certain death.

Western criticism of the Assad government doesn’t justify encouraging and even helping a replacement regime that would be far more brutal. Why remove a secular government that, despite its faults, protects all minorities? Yes, groups within Syrian society probably do deserve more favourable treatment but are we really being asked to believe ISIS will solve the problem? There is nowhere in the world that is ‘corruption free’ and if we want to remove criminal behaviour from every government, there are far more urgent cases than Syria. We could start with the US and UK regimes first.

Where are the White Helmets of Aleppo?

The PR department of the White Helmets has been particularly quiet recently. Having to relocate because of government advances could be the reason. Another possibility is that they have been too busy pulling survivors from damaged buildings. More realistically, is the internet connection is down in Aleppo?

A recent post by Eliot Higgins on the bellingcat website tries too refute and dismiss Vanessa Beeley’s numerous articles exposing the White Helmets. The article fails completely by insisting that her claims aren’t legitimate because they are disputed. Confirmation by the US, UK and Dutch governments of funding the WH aren’t enough for Higgins. Here is part of his article:

Because of this, they have regularly been smeared by the Syrian and Russian governments, and decried as fakes and terrorists. Russian state TV outlet RT (formerly “Russia Today”), for example, ran an opinion piece on 26 October by writer Vanessa Beeley, who labeled them a “terrorist support group and Western propaganda tool”, while a separate report a week earlier questioned the White Helmets’ neutrality by claiming that they were funded by Western governments. As early as May, Kremlin wire Sputnik called the White Helmets a “controversial quasi-humanitarian organisation” which was “fabricating ‘evidence’ of Russia’s ‘disastrous’ involvement in Syria”. This Sputnik piece also quoted Beeley, as saying that the White Helmets “demonize the Assad government and encourage direct foreign intervention.”

For someone who claims to be so diligent about evidence and facts, his dismissive tone regarding Vanessa Beeley casts doubt on what many would believe to be compelling evidence.

The last part of rebel held Aleppo is being cleared as I type and still no sign of any White Helmet employee’s. Maybe they are staying to put out the fires that the terrorists have ignited in an attempt to destroy the area or even evidence they would rather people not see. I have another theory, they aren’t there and never have been there. Elaborate hoaxes don’t just appear out of the air. They are meticulously planned and carried out by intelligent people. The BBC program ‘Saving Syria’s Children’ was created with the help of a charity, Hand in Hand for Syria. Several of the executives (and their relatives) are vociferous critics of the Assad government. Under scrutiny, the documentary looked like a poorly made horror movie. A walking dead scene is clearly bogus with the ‘actors’ awaiting the ‘action!’ command. The White Helmets have a control centre in Turkey and I strongly suspect the videos are made there. Time will tell.
